Zero to 60 MPH
Speed in 1/4 Mile
On top of being much faster, the Accord also has a better fuel economy, ultimately saving you more money and time.

More Efficient Transmission
The Accord offers the best of both worlds; a manual transmission and ten-speed automatic. Both have their own advantages, which gives you the option to choose the perfect Accord for you. The manual transmission offers a more efficient fuel economy, better acceleration, and more control while the ten-speed automatic provides a lower engine speed on the highway with excellent acceleration. The Fusion doesn’t give you the option between transmissions because it only offers a six-speed automatic. As the icing on the cake, the Accord has a standard continuously variable transmission (CVT) that has no “steps” between gears to keep the engine at its most optimum speed for fuel efficiency, or at its peak horsepower for boundless maximum acceleration.
Incredible Passenger Space, Cargo, and Unlimited Comfort
Rated as a Large car by the EPA, the Accord has 2.8 more cubic feet of passenger space than the Fusion and has a larger trunk space, so there’s no need to compromise one for the other. If you’re toting around precious cargo in the trunk, drive easy knowing that the Accord offers cargo security with locking rear seats and remote trunk release lockout. The Fusion doesn’t provide this cargo security feature.
An Advantage in Convenience
To make each driving experience more accessible and more efficient, the Honda Accord has a slew of ergonomic features like a standard heads-up display that can provide pivotal instrument readouts in front of the drivers line of sight, and rearview mirrors that tilt when the vehicle is put into reverse to give a better view of the curb when parking. The Accord is able to keep everyone in the cabin cool during hot summer days with its standard automatic temperature control that maintains the set temperature by controlling fan speed and vents to for a stable, comfortable environment.
